A 2011 Doncaster Bloodstock Premier Yearling sale purchase, this bay colt is by Acclamation (Royal Applause) who was a champion sire with his first crop and his progeny include Group 1 winners Equiano and Dark Angel. His progeny tend to be fast, precocious two-year-olds. Out of the Marju mare Lyca Ballerina who is a half-sister to multiple winners including 6f Listed placed Jeanmaire (Dansili). Their dam Lovely Lyca (Night Shift) is an own-sister to 8f Listed winner Barboukh and half-sister to seven further winners from the family of Camden Town (Derring-Do) and Champion Older Horse in Europe Old Vic (Sadler’s Wells).

He is cantering on Andrew’s all-weather gallop and is a good actioned colt who carries himself extremely well. He has done everything that has been asked of him and is very straightforward. He has plenty of size and scope and though unlikely to be precocious, he is developing in to a very nice colt and Andrew has indicated that he could be ready to run as early as June.
