Bought at the 2011 Arqana Saint-Cloud Summer Mixed Sale, he is from a strong Aga Khan family by Dubai Destination (Kingmambo) who stands at Glenview Stud in Ireland. He is out of the Darshaan mare Ridafa who won over 1m4f and is a half-brother to French winners Rijaiyma (Desert Prince) and Ranjana (Barathea). His second dam Ridaiyma (Kahyasi) was Group 3 placed and is the dam of dual Irish Listed winner Rajik (Kalanisi).
