A Tattersalls October Yearling sale Book 2 purchase, he is by sire sensation Galileo (Sadler’s Wells). Already a champion sire in 2010, he is breaking all records with his progeny in the sales ring and on the racecourse. A tough, consistent racehorse, he won the 2001 Epsom and Irish Derbys and the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Out of the unraced Velouette (Darshaan), she is a half-sister to Moon Ballad (Singspiel) who won the Group 1 Dubai World Cup and three further Group races and was Group 1 placed. Their dam Velvet Moon (Shaadi) is a half-sister to champion three-year-old colt of 1998 Central Park (In the Wings), Group 3 Lancashire Oaks winner Mellow Park (In the Wings) and Listed placed Park Esteem (Singspiel.)
