A British-bred daughter of Epsom Derby winner Motivator (Montjeu), she was bought at the Tattersalls October Book 2 sale. She is a half-sister to Listed winner and multiple Group placed Harris Tweed (Hernando). Their dam Frog (Adarad) recorded five straight wins in handicaps in one month from 10-12f. She is a half-sister to Record Holder (Roi Normand) who won a Group 3 race in Brazil. Their dam Best Girl Friend (Sharood) also produced two further stakes winners in Brazil and Derby Italiano third Best Grey (Ezzoud). Vow’s third dam Girlfriend (Birdbrook) won seven Group 3 races in France and finished second in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket.
