Highclere team builds for Cheltenham

6th March, 2019

Highclere owners are eagerly awaiting news of possible runners at the Cheltenham Festival next week. Leading fancy Posh Trish is in great form ahead of her run in the Dawn Run Mares Novice Hurdle on the Thursday. Ballywood has been left in the Arkle on the first day of the meeting but Alan King will be keeping a close eye on ground conditions should they turn soft due to rain. Creivehill may join Posh Trish in running on the Thursday with entries in the Kim Muir and Brown Advisory and Merriebelle Stable Plate (Handicap Chase). Nigel Twiston Davies will make a decison as to which of the two entries is most suitable. Gold Cup day could see as many as three runners with both Style de Garde and If You Say Run in the Martin Pipe and Whatswrongwithyou running in the 5 Hertfrod Street colours in the Grand Annual.
