Intellect makes it two from three with 9 length romp at Newbury

24th July, 2017

Intellect didn't seem to mind the softening conditions on a wet afternoon at Newbury when storming to a nine length victory in The Grundon Recycling Handicap under Ryan Moore. He jumped smartly from the stalls and was never headed in the mile and a half contest. He is currently rated 80, so it will be interesting to see what the handicapper does with him because that will dictate where he goes next. He is now the winner of two races from only three starts and so the future looks bright for his owners in the Thomas Hardy Syndicate.
