Projection runs a blinder to finish fourth in valuable Doncaster contest

10th September, 2015

Projection has clearly progressed since his solid effort in the sales race at York to finish fourth in The Weatherbys Hamilton £300,000 2YO Stakes at Doncaster earning a fantastic £21,530 for his effort. He was partnered by George Baker who rode him to his impressive three length maiden win at Windsor a month ago. He broke well this time and was always near the pace. He hit the front with a decent distance still to travel and inside the final furlong he began to get passed by horses, but then stayed on really well to finish a clear fourth in this incredibly valuable contest. George Baker thinks he is definitely a black type horse in the making, which is very exciting for this talented two year old and the members of the Royal Ascot Racing Club who own him.
