Projection set to light up the Knavesmire

18th August, 2015

Projection is all set for York on Thursday where he lines up in the £300,000 DBS Premier Yearling Stakes along with nineteen other hopefuls. Projection made rather a hash of his debut spending much of the first furlong bronking, but put that to right in fine style when winning by three lengths next time under a hands and heels ride from George Baker. He passed the post in an impressive time that day and Roger Charlton was quick to mention this valuable race at York as his next target. Thankfully Projection came out of his race at Windsor in fantastic form and so heads to York on Thursday. He is one of the least exposed two year olds in the contest, but is taking on some speedy race-hardened types that have shown form in Group company, so he will no doubt have to have improved since Windsor to be in the shake up.
