Alan King: Highclere recruit Tuscan Gold has joined the yard

Alan King has become the latest trainer to join the Highclere Thoroughbred Racing roster after being sent smart Flat performer Tuscan Gold to run over hurdles.
The four-year-old won twice on the level for Sir Mark Prescott and was snapped up for 75,000 guineas at Tattersalls last week.
King said: “The gelding arrived on Thursday and he is a good looking horse.
“Tuscan Gold is a good staying prospect, he was a stayer on the Flat and will most likely need two and a half miles when he starts hurdling.
“I am extremely excited to be training for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing.”
