The Jumpers Shine Again!
30th October, 2017
We had another successsful weekend with our National Hunt horses, with a winner and a third from two runners! Contented made his hurdling debut at Wincanton, where he ran a pleasing race to finish third in a competitive field. This eyecatching son of Dalakhani has been pleasing trainer Philip Hobbs at home and it was fantastic to see all his schooling work translate to his performance on the track (Please click here to see a replay of the race). There are just two shares remaining in Contented so please do get in touch with the office if you are interested by phoning 01488 669166. Shortly after Contented's run, Posh Trish also made her Highclere debut in the bumper at Aintree. She was sent off the hot favourite, and in a nail-biting finish was denied a win by the narrowest of margins, however after a lengthy stewards eqnuiry the placings were reversed and she was awarded the race, much to the delight of her owners!
Both horses look to be exciting prospects for the National Hunt season ahead, and with three winners from five runners since the start of the season, we are currently operating a 60% winners to runners strike rate!
