There’s a busy week ahead over jumps

17th February, 2017

Highclere's National Hunt team have a busy week ahead with four horses holding entries over the next seven days. Both horses in training with Paul Nicholls, If You Say Run and One More Hero, will be making their debuts in the Highclere silks, with the former entered in a mares' novices' hurdle at Taunton on Tuesday and the latter in a three mile maiden hurdle at Ludlow on Wednesday. Both are Irish Point-to-Point winners and have been working and schooling well at home in preparation for their debuts under rules.

Later in the week, Highclere's latest addition to the National Hunt string, Crievehill, will be running in a novice hurdle at Huntingdon on Thursday or Exeter on Friday. His trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies has him well entered at Cheltenham and is keen to get one more run into him before the big meeting in March. Also entered at Exeter on Friday is the Dan Skelton trained Whatduhavtoget, who showed huge promise at the beginning of the season and has been freshened up over the last two months, so we look forward to seeing her back out on the track.
