Whatswrongwithyou makes it two from two!

12th February, 2018

On a wet and miserable afternoon at Newbury on Saturday, Whatswrongwithyou provided a light on the horizon when he romped home in the opener by nine lengths, much to the delight of the members of the 5 Hertford Street Racing Club.  This eight year-old gelding has been leased from Nicky Henderson by the Club for the duration of the National Hunt season, and has certainly provided a great deal of entertainment - winning at Newbury in January, and then following up with this second victory at the weekend.  He travelled strongly throughout the contest, relishing the wet conditions, and was in command of the proceedings from two out to cruise home in front.  His next race target is undecided as of yet, but could well be the Imperical Cup and Sandown, or the Country Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival - a very exciting prospect either way!
