This lovely-moving individual is by multiple Group 1 winner Dream Ahead. Dream Ahead is the sire of dozens of Stakes performers including Group 1 winner Al Wukair.  This colt was the sale topper at Bordeaux with his trainer George Baker describing him as “a stunning colt, I loved him from the moment our agent in France Sebastian Le Forban took me to see him."  George’s catalogue notes simply read “Love him. Buy him!!”

Culture made a late season debut at Sandown, in a run that we expected him to come on a lot for. On his other appearance at two he placed third at Amiens and looked very much one to look forward to this season. He has strengthened up really well through the winter months and shaped with real promise when finishing fifth at Chepstow on his first run of the season. After a couple of disappointing runs, where there were valid excuses, he then left his previous form well behind.

In first-time cheek-pieces he romped to a comfortable three-length win at Windsor, drawing away from the field in the last furlong. He then repeated that performance with another game victory at the same track, showing that he is well and truly on the upgrade.  Unfortunately, Culture then found conditions at Epsom were not his liking in the Apprentices’ Derby at Epsom where he and a number of others struggled in very heavy ground.

Following a winter break, Culture made his seasonal debut at Sandown of which he ran too freely and fresh, understandably as he hadn't seen a racecourse in 328 days! He has come on from this and ran a much better race at again at Sandown- he travelled very well but stayed a little one paced inside the final furlong. Nicola Currie was very upbeat about Culture's performance and felt that it would not be long before we see him back in the winner’s enclosure. Culture was a transformed horse on his next racecourse appearance to win under a masterful ride from Adam Kirby as Kempton. He was much improved on the all-weather surface and Adam Kirby was right in saying that he might well do better next time as he won another on the bounce at Kempton!

Culture will now head to the sales after providing his share owners with a lot of fun.
