We thought that this was one of the stand out horses on day one of the Tattersalls Book 1 sale and so we were all jumping for joy when we managed to secure him for 140,000 guineas. His sire, Kodiac, has been an absolute revelation because when he stared his stud career he was bred to pretty cheap mares but his success in overriding poor pedigrees has been astonishing and he is now one of the most successful and popular stallions in Europe.  He is the sire of Tiggy Wiggy who won the Cheveley Park (Gr1) as well as the Group 2 winners Prince of Lear, Adaay, Besharah and Kodi Bear but to name a few. This colt has plenty of size and scope but he is not a weak horse.  His grand dam, Disco Volante, is a daughter of Sadlers Wells and the mighty Divine Danse who herself is a multiple Group winner.  He probably gets his size from the female line of his pedigree as Kodiac himself is a neat son of Danehill who often gets very small horses. This is a special individual and one who we are very excited about.

Consultant is an imposing son of Kodiac that took some time to come to hand. He made his debut at Salisbury in September where he overcame testing conditions to finish a staying on fourth. He is likely to have a couple more runs this season before being put away for the winter.
