Sibirica (IRE)

By leading sire Exceed and Excel this filly is all about speed and precocity as she is out of the Firth of Clyde (Gr 3) 5f winner Princess Iris.  She breezed in a very fast time for a filly who is not bred to enjoy the soft ground conditions that the horses had to endure at Doncaster. She will be even better on a firmer surface which is incredibly exciting.  We have sent her to Charlie Fellowes to train who has made such a terrific start to his career. Charlie trains Highclere’s Snazzy who won so impressively on her debut recently. We have found Charlie to be extremely professional and his communication is superb, not to mention the warm welcome given to anyone visiting his St Gatien Stables.

She made her debut at Nottingham and did not give her true running, finishing down the field. Charlie expected much better of her and she duly proved that second time at Newmarket, finishing a very close and staying on eigth in a good maiden. She found trouble in running next time at Lingfield, but has now qualified for a mark and should be more than capbable of winning race off a mark of 71.
