This beautiful and well-bred filly by New Approach is trained at Ralph Beckett's Kimpton Down Stables near Andover in Hampshire.

Her sire is responsible for numerous top-class horses, including Oaks winner Talent, who of course won the premier fillies’ Classic for Affable’s trainer.  Her dam was a useful winner and is a half-sister to Dante Stakes winner Libertarian.

Affable made her racecourse debut at Kempton in early February 2020 and ran a race full of promise.  Showing plenty of signs of greenness, missing the break and racing freely early, she understandably got a little tired in the closing stages and finished a fine third to a couple of fair sorts trained by Richard Hannon and Charlie Appleby.  She's expected to come into her own over ten furlongs plus this season.
