Occupy (USA)

This imposing colt caught our attention at the 2016 Keeneland September Yearling Sale being out of a full sister to our very own multiple Gr2 winner Telescope (Galileo). After viewing the footage of this colt, we were quick to pounce and ultimately delgihted to have secured him for an absolute steal at $80,000, considering he represents an oustanding physical, strong pedigree and is a beautiful mover. His sire, Declaration of War, was a wonderful racehorse winning the Juddmonte International (Gr1) and the Queen Anne (Gr1), whilst also finishing third in the Breeders’ Cup Classic (Gr1). This yearling colt is from his first crop, with the pedigree cross of War Front on Galileo mares already producing Roly Poly who won this year’s Cherry Hinton (Gr2) at Newmarket. We are thrilled to be able to race this colt into and beyond 2017, and are excited to be teaming up again with Ralph Beckett who has enjoyed another excellent season this year and is a well-liked figure among Highclere share owners.

Occupy has developed into a lovely looking colt during his two-year-old year. Ralph would like to give him one run at the back end of the season, but he is all about next season and is a horse we are excited about.
