Precious Bounty

Philip Hobbs is getting excited: Philip Hobbs is not an excitable man.

Precious Bounty joined the Highclere squad after two point-to-point runs. His first race ended prematurely when he had tack failure but he had better luck in the second: the first past the post was disqualified – but still sold for £225,000 - promoting Precious Bounty to second and the second won well next time.  Had all these circumstances been in the public domain when Precious Bounty was bought by Philip Hobbs at the Tattersalls Cheltenham Sale he would have fetched a great deal more than his purchase price.

Philip first thoughts were of autumn bumpers for Posh Bounty and nothing he has seen since our horse returned from his summer holiday has given him reason to change his opinion.
