Vida Rose (AUS) - Share Available (AUS)

When you see a blue hen bred filly, by an Australian Champion Sire and out of the family of multiple Group winners, including a Golden Slipper performer, you sit up and take notice!

By Fastnet Rock, out of the Group 3 winner and Oaks placed mare, Sacred Eye, this filly’s grandmother Musidora won the Group 3 Vanity Stakes and has already produced a multiple Group 3 winner and Group 1 Golden Slipper placed Tulip, winner of over $1 million in prizemoney. The family is one of the most exciting in the stud book and known well to her trainer David Hayes and the man who bought most of the family, Adrian Nichol who also bought us this filly.

She is a classic looking filly with fantastic depth and moves like a panther, which is exactly what you want to see in young horses bred to get over the classic Guineas and Oaks distances.

As we have come to learn with these well-bred fillies, even if they don't make it to the heights we hope for on the racetrack, they will always hold on to residual value for the breeding barn after racing. If this filly manages to progress into a black-type performer than not only are we in for a serious ride, but a serious return also!
