Ganton Hall is a beautiful red brick Grade II listed building with raised gables and majestic tall brick stacks, which dates back to 1860. Located on the Wolds of Yorkshire, the surrounding landscape of distinctive valleys and rolling chalk hills is perfect for shooting. The Estate is renowned for its game drives and has been the home of the Wrigley family since 1911. Nicholas Wrigley, the current inhabitant, was Senior Steward of the Jockey Club between 2009 – 2014 as well as Racecourse Steward at both York and Pontefract.

Richard Fahey has gone from strength to strength in his twenty-five years of training, evident from his prize money haul each season, which for the last three years has exceeded £3,000,000. He is well known for regularly pulling off handicap coups, including this year with Stamp Hill who won a £150,000 Heritage Handicap at Ascot at 50/1! He also makes a habit of winning valuable two-year-old prizes and this season it was Bengali Boys who demolished a twenty-three strong field at Newbury in the Weatherbys Super Sprint. When a top class animal enters Richard’s Musley Bank stable there is no doubt that he gets the very best out of them and the rise of his current stable star and four-time Group 1 winner, Ribchester, is testament that. Richard has also enjoyed great success for Highclere, including with the Group 3 winner Rose Blossom and more recently Garcia, who was well-liked amongst his share owners and paid them back with a hat trick of victories last season before being sold very well to continue his career in Australia.
