Nick Skelton has had a remarkable career in the saddle and at his seventh Olympic Games in Rio 2016 he secured an elusive Individual Olympic gold medal on Big Star to add to his team gold in London, making him the oldest British Olympic gold medalist since 1908. He currently holds the British Show Jumping High Jump record of 2.32m, which he set in 1978.

The Nick Skelton Syndicate is made up of two horses that compliment each other really well. Mark Johnston will train a Motivator colt purchased in Deauville for 30,000 euros and Kevin Ryan will train a son of Sir Prancealot, the leading first season sire in 2016, who was purchased at Goffs for 45,000 euros.
