Ed Dunlop

List of horses in training

Since taking out a licence to train in 1994, Ed Dunlop has enjoyed success at the highest level of racing. Within two years of starting out on his own he had achieved Classic glory thanks to Ta Rib in the French 1,000 Guineas. There were more victories at the top level with Fraulein, Night Style and Lailani.

But it is fair to say Dunlop's greatest triumphs have been provided by the brilliant filly Ouija Board, who landed three Group 1s as a three-year-old, including the English Oaks and a Breeders' Cup crown. She continued to hit the heights during a rollercoaster four-year old campaign winning the Hong Kong Vase to round off 2005 and topped a brilliant 2006 season with wins in The Prince of Wales's Stakes (Gr 1), The Vodafone Nassau Stakes (Gr 1) and The Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf (Gr 1) by winning The Cartier Award for Champion Older Horse and Horse of the Year.

Ed recently moved to La Grange stables in Newmarket following a complete refurbishment of the yard.
