Richard Fahey

Richard Fahey joined the Highclere roster in 2009 as trainer of the filly Rose Blossom who was a Group 3 winner for Highclere owners. Richard has built his training career on the back of a successful time as a jockey and is based at Malton in West Yorkshire. He has trained horses such as Anna Pavlova, Fonthill Road and Superior Premium as well as Group 1 2010 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner Wooton Bassett. Stable jockey Paul Hanagan achieved back-to-back championships in 2011 while Richard finished finished third in the trainers list numerically with 160 winners and over £1.67 million in prizemoney.
