Tony and Rosalie Leftwich
Taittinger Moment

When Pianoforte won impressively at Bath on the 14th June it was the second time owners Tony and Rosalie Leftwich had been at the track, the first time was 1987 when they had a horse called Just David who won the Chester cup.

Just David was also the first horse who Tony and Rosalie bred. He was by Blackeney (one of two Derby winning horses, the other named Morston, who were bred, owned and trained by Arthur Budgett).

It was fantastic to see history repeat itself 37 years later, and in doing so maintaining the Leftwich's clean sheet at Bath.

What a wonderful story!
