Last Share in Two Smart Highclere Fillies

25th February, 2020

The final share is now available in the two fillies that form the very exciting Nic Fiddian-Green Syndicate.  Both are well-bred daughters of classy stallions and look to be speedy types who should give their owners plenty of enjoyment and success on the racecourse this year.  They are quality two-year-olds that have impressed their respective trainers with everything that they have done to date.

Cirrus, by top sire Starspangledbanner, is a very good-looking filly that is fast becoming a firm favourite of her trainer, Richard Hannon.  Everyone believes that she was incredibly well bought from the Ascot Yearling Sale and that she would have achieved significantly more at auction had she been consigned to one of the more fashionable sales.  Hopes are extremely high for this filly who has great strength and athleticism to match her looks.

Operatic, by the high-class stallion Showcasing, is another sharp-looking and speedy type with a smart pedigree.  Trained by Simon Crisford, she really catches the eye in her exercise on the Newmarket gallops and could well be the sort to run before Royal Ascot and potentially head to the big meeting itself.  She moves well and has continued to go the right way since she was purchased at the prestigious Goffs Orby Sale in Ireland.

20 shares @ £13,500 plus VAT each for 2 horses (Cirrus (Richard Hannon)) purchased for £40,000 and Operatic (Simon Crisford) purchased for €78,000)) | 2nd year cost for 3yo career @ £7,500 plus VAT for 2 horses
