This is a strong and precocious-looking colt by the exciting first-season sire Territories who looks just the type with which his trainer Richard Hannon tends to excel.

His sire Territories is by Invincible Spirit and was a Group 1 performer at two, he was then placed second in the 2,000 Guineas at three and won the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat (1m).  The dam Fen Guest won at six furlongs and has produced three winners to date, two of which won at two.  Fen Guest is a half-sister to the dam of the high-class sprinter/miler Gale Force Ten out of a half-sister to Irish Champion 2yo Filly Bianca Nera.

He made his racecourse debut at Salisbury 1st October over six furlongs and put in a good first effort to finish in the middle of the field in very tacky conditions. He has come out of his first run and shown great improvement to come a close third of seven runners at Kempton. He did all his best work at the end of the race and looks as though he will improve over further next time.

Following a winter break, Escape is back in full training with Richard Hannon and should be ready to run sometime in May.
