High Drama at Kempton
DIARY ENTRY
by syndicate shareholder Heather Raw
Drama gets up when it matters to make it back to back wins in the London Sprint Series Final at Kempton (06.09.25)
What a fantastic day we all had at Kempton on Saturday with Drama winning the Final Handicap Stakes Class 2 for the second year running by the skin of his teeth coming like a train in the last furlong to win by a nose!
So exciting!
Oisin Murphy up for the first time with a race plan delivered to perfection; it was also Oisin’s birthday and his third winner of the day which made it even better.
Drama was slow to start but Oisin kept his cool and brought our horse home in style.
Winning owners enjoying the celebrations with Drama!
The way forward in racing is without doubt through syndicate membership, it enables the everyday person to enjoy what is an elite sport.
Highcleres success rate is phenomenal and offers such good value when one considers and compares what it would cost to have only one horse in full training with a top trainer.
The management of these horses and the care they receive in training is next to none.
Sourcing these future athletes is no mean feat and I think Harry and Jake are a terrific team, the success they have had speaks for itself. There are always going to be ups and downs with all equine athletes but Highclere and their first class trainers are without doubt on it!
