Harry’s Introduction…

We are well and truly into the swing of the flat season now, and we have enjoyed an exciting and successful July, with plenty more to look forward to as the season progresses.

The horses have, as always, kept us on our toes, with winners up and down the country, and some placing in Group races further afield.

Having a couple of runners at Glorious Goodwood is always an excellent experience for our owners, and both horses ran with great credit and look like they have plenty of potential to improve from their runs during a competitive week of racing. We welcomed over 100 shareowners to our picnic, and it was a lovely opportunity to catch up with everyone during such a busy season!

Many of our shareowners have enjoyed some exceptional stable visits to our distinguished trainers, who are always so hospitable. Being able to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having, and watching horses train in the sunshine is always a pleasure.

Many congratulations go to Mary Neale whose 100th winner with Highclere came up when Chapter stormed to victory at Sandown at staggering odds of 50/1!! We couldn’t be more grateful for your tremendous support Mary and here’s to the next 100!

August is all set to be a busy month, with potential runners in France and of course, we have the York Ebor Festival to look forward to! Some of the National Hunt horses have already started back with their trainers, and before long we will be looking back at this summer, the heat a distant memory!
