MANNERISM AND PRANKSTER

‘Max (Mannerism) and Frank (Prankster) are now happily settled in a private home in rural Suffolk. They are enjoying being part of family life - where the young children regularly pop out for pats and cuddles, and lots of yummy treats to share!’

Prankster was a recent horse with us here at Highclere, by Oasis Dream he was brought to us by George Scott. Although he showed willing it became evident that perhaps racing wasn’t for him when finishing 14th of 15th on debut after proving rather tricky to get to the track. Now known as Frank he is having what looks to be a glorious time in his new home:

‘Frank (Prankster) being a little younger than Mannerism, will continue to enjoy a simple life out in the field for a bit longer. But don’t underestimate his cheekiness and desire to learn, we are sure that Frank will be destined for a fun ridden career in the future.

Frank’s stable mate is another retired Highclere horse called Mannerism who ran four times for trainer Karl Burke the best of them being his debut where he finished third of nine. Mannerism is now called Max and both of them

‘Max (Mannerism) recently came back into work following some time off. He will now start his programme of retraining to become a ridden horse and who knows what he might turn his hoof to – he is such a happy and willing chap’.
