RALPH BECKETT

Kimpton Down, Hampshire

Ralph Beckett needs no introduction, bringing with him a wealth of experience and success in his career, which spans 27 years at the historic Kimpton Down stables in Lambourn.

Beckett has come a long way since his first season in 1999 when he had a dozen horses and “the main objective was to get through the next season and still be in business.” Over a quarter of a century later, Beckett now boasts an impressive roll of honour consisting of no less than 19 Group 1, including Bluestocking who won the 2024 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Prix Vermeille and Irish Pretty Polly, 2025 Sussex Stakes winner Qirat, Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint winner Starlust, and also Kinross, Lezoo, Prosperous Voyage, Scope, and Angel Bleu.

Kimpton Down is home to some impressive state-of-the-art facilities, set in the heart of the idyllic Hampshire countryside near Andover. There have been some iconic Classic-winning stable stars including Talent (2013 Oaks), who became the first Classic winner ever to be trained there and has been followed by Simple Verse (2015 St Leger), Westover (2022 Irish Derby) and You Got To Me (2024 Irish Oaks).

We are thrilled to continue our association with Ralph and always look forward to visits to the beautiful Kimpton Down and continuing to build a fruitful relationship with Ralph and his team.
