Richard Hannon Jnr is well known for his ability to train two-year-olds, sending out over 100 juvenile winners in 2014, propelling him to a Champion Trainer’s title in just his first season. However, the subsequent exploits of his 17 Group 1 winners, including Night of Thunder, Olympic Glory, Billesdon Brook, and Snow Lantern, are a testament to his ability to handle horses right the way through their careers, and at the very top of the sport. Three-time Group 1 winner, Rosallion proved himself the best miler of his generation in winning the Irish 2,000 Guineas and the St. James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Richard is nearing 2000 winners, and is showing no sign of slowing down, earning over £2.5 million in prize money in his last four consecutive seasons.

Richard’s aim is to “strive for quality horses and to give owners a good all-round experience, with hopefully some success on the way.” Richard has certainly lived up to this reputation both on the track and while hosting owners at some very jolly stable visits!
