BLAIRGOWRIE ENJOYING HIS NEW CAREER
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Blairgowrie powers to victory at Newbury April 2022
Blairgowrie a handsome son of Yeats, trained by Nicky Henderson, was a winner over hurdles in a 0-115 handicap hurdle over 3m. Before retiring earlier this year rated 105.
He has been having a lovely time in his new home and this is what his new owners have to say:
‘
Gary has the best nature on the ground. He is great to ride although scared of his own shadow when hacking alone. This is something we are working on very slowly and go a bit futher each time we solo hack. He has started his pole work and schooling. He has either done this before or picking it up very naturally. We took him on a fun ride a few weeks ago he loved it. He got a little giddy at the start but settled after a few gallops in the open fields. He managed to jump a couple of sets of rails really nice but can lack confidence at times. This is something we are working on. This will be a slow process as I don’t want to put him off. Gary will be eventing by next year all being well. He has put on some good condition which was far easier than I thought it was going to be at first. He loves his meals. He has a very good attitude to work and loves a job. I’m looking forward to see what he becomes.’
Enjoying his new home ears pricked!
